Pee-pee in the Potty!
Kelsey went pee-pee in the potty tonight before her bath!! This was the second time she's gone - the first was last Saturday (June 20) and again, just before her bath. The funny part is when she sits on the potty she asks for a book and some toilet paper! Hmmm....
Happy Father's Day
We took the new bridge over to Maple Ridge and went to a nice Father's Day walk down by the Allouette River - a gorgeous little park called Allco Park. Kelsey liked eating the salmon berries, picking up the river rocks, and trying to dip her feet in the river.

Fun in the Sun!
We have been trying to get out of our house to enjoy this beautiful, unseasonably hot weather in the last week and a half. Aside from not wanting to sweat to death sitting in our livingroom, Kelsey loves being outside and practically begs to go to the park! Needless to say, the water park, the beach, and Grandma's new pool are only a few places we've visited to try to seek refuge from the heat.
This is Evelyn, Nadine and Kelsey splashing and sliding in the new pool Grandma bought.
With Kelsey being older, and more mobile this summer, we thought we'd try the beach. And what trip to the beach is complete without fish & chips. While we were waiting for Grandma to return with the food, Kelsey keep "honking" at the gulls and saying "noisy" and "shhhh". She later shared some of her "chippies" with them!
This was Kelsey's first time in the ocean. She kept calling it the "river". It took her a while to warm up to it - she didn't like the sand and seaweed on her toes and kept bending down to wipe/pull it off. Once she got used to it she started singing and dancing and splashing around like crazy.
A hot weekend wouldn't be complete without a trip to the local water park. Again, it took her a while to get used to it, but once she did, there was no stopping her! She kept calling the water a "shower".
